Two children hurt in Tuesday crash
RISINGSUN - Two young children were taken to Wood County Hospital following a crash just west of the village Tuesday.
The Wood County Sheriff's Office reports that at 10:20 a.m. Kenneth Schroeder, 32, West Millgrove, was eastbound on Bays Road when Miranda Rife, 17, Fostoria, northbound on Bradner Road, entered the Bays Road intersection and struck Schroeder's vehicle in the passenger side.
Schroeder's two passengers, Emalie Schroeder, 8, and Isabelle Schroeder, 4, both of West Millgrove, reported possible injuries and were taken to the hospital by Bradner EMS.
Rife was cited for right of way at a stop sign.
