On Wednesday the Lent Lunch series, "God and the Workplace," will feature a presentation by Clint Corpe, manager of the Bowling Green Panera Bread. The program will be offered at Trinity United Methodist Church, across from the county courthouse, from noon to 1 pm. Mr. Corpe's topic will be "The Disgruntled Colleague: How our faith can help us deal with a grumpy person at work."
Corpe is the fifth in a group of community speakers in a luncheon series offered on Wednesdays through March 27. The programs are held in the Trinity United Methodist Church 200 N. Summit, in its fellowship hall.
Six local churches are serving as "hosts," providing and serving soup and salad, with the congregation of the Dayspring Assembly of God bringing the meal this week.
There is no charge, though donations are welcome. The series is sponsored by the Bowling Green Ministerial Association.
