FOSTORIA - ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital will offer free breast cancer screenings to uninsured and under-insured patients on Wednesday from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., in the Miller Diagnostic Center, entrance 1.
The program is being funded through a grant from Northwest Ohio Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
The screenings will include a clinical breast exam, screening mammogram, education, and follow-up support.
Fostoria Hospital will provide these services in partnership with ProMedica Cancer Institute, Bay Park Women's Services and Riverside Radiology and Interventional Associates.
Additional free screening mammogram events will be held Oct. 16 and Jan. 15, 2014.
