PERRYSBURG - A water main break has put 10 residences in the city's Crandenbrook subdivision under a water boil notice.
Those homes have been advised to boil their water for two days, said Dan Wickard with Northwest Water and Sewer District. The break occurred Tuesday morning.
"We've notified the residents who need to do the advisory," he said, noting that reports indicating the entire city of Perrysburg was under a boil advisory were inaccurate.
Perrysburg Police first received calls about the break, located at Ottekee Lane and Dogwood Drive, just after 5 a.m. Tuesday. The streets are located off Eckel Junction Road, just northwest of Fort Meigs Elementary, on the west side of the city.
Wickard indicated that water service was already being restored as of early Tuesday afternoon.
