Two from Bowling Green Schools' administrative team will be leaving for other jobs.
Resignation request from Joe Zabowski and Brian Whitta were accepted at Tuesday's school board meeting.
Zabowski is principal at the middle school and leaving for a similar post with Evergreen Schools.
Whitta is transportation director and is leaving for a similar post as well, with Fostoria Schools.
Zabowski just finished his 11th year at Bowling Green, and stated several reasons for his departure.
First and foremost is the change is state retirement benefits and how it will affect school employees in two years.
A retire-rehire plan is an option in Evergreen for Zabowski, but he said such a plan is not ideal here in Bowling Green. Given the defeat of the past levy and pending budget cuts, he doubts that option is available here.
