The Wood County District Public Library Foundation hosts its 5th benefit for the library this Thursday at Schedel Arboretum and Gardens, 19255 W. Portage River South Road, Elmore.
Proceeds from the benefit will go towards the purchase of books.
"The foundation benefit at Schedel Gardens remains crucial to the library's ability to put new books on its shelves," said library director Michael Penrod. "Thanks to generosity in support of this event, and through support for the library's operating levy, WCDPL is able to provide the materials and services our community needs and demands."
Tickets at still available at the library, and are $100 ($75 is tax deductible).
