Heroin overdose suspected in BG
One city man was taken to Wood County Hospital early this morning following a suspected heroin overdose.
Bowling Green Police state that a 31-year-old male was reported as not breathing and unresponsive by his girlfriend in an apartment in the 700 block of Fifth Street around 12:30 a.m.
Presumed heroin, as well as drug abuse instruments, were reported to be in plain view in the location. The man was revived by Bowling Green EMS personnel and taken to the hospital.
His condition was not available this morning.
Major Tony Hetrick of BG Police said this morning that charges are likely pending in the case.
Ambulance districtmeets tonight
TONTOGANY - Northwest Wood Ambulance District will hold a special meeting to adopt 2014 estimated revenue tonight at 6:30 at the Washington Township office in Tontogany.
