Frank Weldon has spent the last year whipping K&G Towing into shape. But what do the K and G stand for?
"The K and G used to be the initials of the previous owner and his wife," Weldon explained. "So when we took over the business, I thought, what could I use these initials for?"
The answer: Kind and Gentle Towing.
"Most people don't expect it," Weldon chuckled. "We are as polite as we can be and we take as much care as we can with the vehicle when we tow it."
The company also stands for courtesy, safety and convenience.
K&G Towing is on call 24 hours a day for flat tire service, jump starts, unlocking services, and to tow your car if you break down. "We tow to Toledo, Findlay, Columbus, Defiance, Dayton-we've towed some farther distances away," Weldon said, as well as to dealerships and car shops in Bowling Green.
