Police are seeking a suspect who robbed a business on South Main Street Sunday afternoon.
Bowling Green Police Chief Brad Conner reported that they were alerted to the crime at 2:54 p.m. when an employee at Family Video, 816 S. Main St., called to indicate that they had been robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash.
"He'd been in the store for a while," said Conner, "just kind of looking around, and when the store was empty, just him and the attendant, that's when he approached the counter."
The man did not display a weapon, said Conner, "he just ordered the lone female employee to turn the cash over to him."
The man fled from the scene on foot. No injuries were reported.
