All six graduating seniors from the Beat Dance Co. will be continuing dance in college this fall.
The seniors wrap up their high school careers with recitals this weekend for the Beat at Otsego High School.
The girls are Madison Delong, Katelyn Eppink, Morganne Hansen, Mariah Houser, Reina Rosales and Abby Watterworth.
“Our strong program has prepared each of them for a successful future in dance. Every one of them was selected for the team/program for which they auditioned, and we know that it is because of the strong training the received at the Beat,” said Colleen Murphy, owner and director of the Beat on North Main Street.
All six have danced competitively with the Beat and they will perform a “senior send-off” routine at the end of the recitals.
Madison is the daughter of Lauri and Brad Delong, Perrysburg, and graduated from Perrysburg High School. She will attend Kent State University where she will major in dance and perform as a member of the KSU Dance Team. She has been dancing for 15 years and her specialties are jazz and contemporary dance.
