Al-Mar Lanes is holding its inaugural "BG Youth Bowling Benefit" tournament.
All area bowlers are invited to be part of the event with all proceeds to benefit the BG youth bowling program. The winner will receive a shirt.
The benefit is March 29 at 6:30 p.m. The format will be three games of no-tap bowling with handicap based on 80 percent of a 230 average.
There will also be a 50/50 raffle held to boost the support. Entry fee is $25 per bowler.
There is no prize money, so all funds benefit the youth bowlers. Competitors will be able to enter a variety of side games to enhance the tournament experience. The center will run jackpots, brackets along with the poker and "Kegler's Cash" games.
Because there is no prize money involved in the actual event, even youth bowlers may compete to support their own program.
For complete details or to reserve your spot, call the center at (419) 352-4637.
