The WSOS Board of Directors have voted unanimously to authorize the board's executive committee to negotiate a contract with Ruthann House, who was hired permanently, as the agency's new president/CEO.
House, who has been the acting president/CEO since December, has been with WSOS for the past 28 years. She has served as the agency's vice president since 2001. Since 2006 she has also served as the acting director of the Housing & Energy department, in addition to her role as vice president.
House is a board member and the treasurer for the Ohio Association of Community Action Agencies and serves on the boards of the Ohio Head Start Association and the Lutheran Homes Society Foundation.
House also serves as a church council member and treasurer for Grace Lutheran Church, Fremont.
House holds bachelor and master degrees in business administration.
She resides in Fremont.
