Montgomery Edward Haynes, 25, of Tontogany, Ohio, died May 31, 2013 at the St. Vincent's Mercy Medical Center. He was born on June 24, 1987 in Jacksonville, Florida, to Kenneth and Brenda (Wilford) Haynes.
Monty was a 2005 Otsego High School graduate. After high school he served in the U.S. Marine Corps, including two tours in Iraq.
He was a freight conductor with the CSX Railroad for the last three years. Monty was also a volunteer fireman serving in the Washington Twp. and Milton Twp. fire departments.
Monty is survived by his parents; his sister, Emily Haynes of Tontogany; his grandparents David and Muriel Haynes of Fremont, and Ken and Carol Wilford of Huron, OH; his uncles and aunts, Steven (Mary Jo) Haynes, Matthew Haynes, Ken A. (James) Wilford, Jodi (Craig) Lewis, and Sandy Lowery and numerous cousins.
