Donald Richard Ginter, 86, of Findlay passed away at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 31, 2013 at Fox Run Manor, Findlay. He was born on March 7, 1927 in Charlotte, MI, to the late Harley Oren and Ruth (Moe) Ginter. He married Lillian Francis Matej on June 7, 1947, and she preceded him in death on February 28, 2000.
Donald is survived by his two sons; Daniel (Theresa) Ginter of Bowling Green and Dean (Vicky) Ginter of Arlington; brother, Ronald (Joanne) Ginter of St. Marys; sister, Carolyn (Bill) Winkle of Findlay; three grandchildren: Cory Ginter, Megan (Jason) Rahm, and Kathryn Ginter; and special friend, Kathy Karcher of Findlay.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers: George and James Ginter.
Donald served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy during WWII, where he was a part of the Seabees. After the Seabees he worked for his father on the B & O Railroad. He retired as a Millwright for Bendix in Fostoria.
