AVON — Bowling Green’s baseball team is headed back to the NCAA tournament.
The Falcons won the Mid-American Conference tournament championship for the first time since 1999 with a 7-0 win Sunday over Ball State at All Pro Freight Stadium.

BG, 24-29, was the No. 6 seed for the tournament. Ball State, the No. 4 seed, is 31-24.
The NCAA selection show is Monday at noon and will be shown by ESPNU.
