A 24-year-old man accused of murdering his then girlfriend sought a new attorney Thursday morning before Judge Alan Mayberry.
Jose Antonio Moya Jr. will continue to be represented by Adrian Cimerman after the judge denied his request.
Moya is charged with the July 22, 2012 murder of 21-year-old Leandra Frankum in Perrysburg Township.
Before denying his request the judge reviewed for the defendant his case history including noting this was the second appointed counsel for him, as well as the second scheduled jury trial.
