Iris Vi Holloway, 94, passed away peacefully at 11:30 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Briar Hill Health Campus.
She was born in Galatea, Ohio to the late Clarence Herbert and Tilly May (Skeels) Sewell. On September 7, 1935, she married O. Rice Holloway and he preceded her in death on April 7, 1973.
Iris was also preceded in death by a daughter, Pam Buchanan and a great-grandson, Bryce Holloway.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Linda Holloway of North Baltimore, son-in-law, Lynn Buchanan of Salt Lake City, Utah; grandchildren, Matthew (Jenny) Holloway and Lisa (Brian) Day; great-grandchildren, Christopher, Katherine and Clara Day; Brayden, Brock and Brynne Holloway.
Five brothers, Harry, Vernon, Rovell, Earl and Richard Sewell and three sisters, Ethel Ferguson, Esther Sewell and Grace Hill also preceded her in death.
