Aloysius "Al" Belcik, age 84, of Walbridge, passed away peacefully May 12, 2013, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 16, 1928, in Walbridge to Charles and Katherine (Galecka) Belcik. On May 16, 1953, he married the love of his life, Leona "Lee" Harmon.
Al was employed as a Clerk/Account for CSX Railroad before retiring in 1988 after 44 years.
He was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church. To Al, family always came first. Al coached baseball for the Walbridge Colts, he loved traveling and spending his winters in Florida with his wife. He was an avid sports fan, he enjoyed bowling and going to sporting events with his son. Al made his own wine and was very proud and happy to offer anyone a glass no matter what time of day it was.
