Two rapes investigated in Bowling Green
Bowling Green Police are investigating two rapes reported in the city this month.
One woman told police her assault took place May 2 on Biddle Street. She reported it May 4.
In the second case, the woman told police her assault took place at Days Inn on May 3. She reported the incident Wednesday.
Alcohol was not a factor in each case, and both victims knew their attacker, according to police.
The cases remain under investigation.
Carbon monoxide in BG house
No injuries were reported after a carbon monoxide incident on John Court Wednesday.
Bowling Green firefighters were called to a residence in the 300 block of John Court after a carbon monoxide detector alert at 5:47 p.m.
