BRADNER - Voters in Bradner passed an additional 2-mill levy for village parks on Tuesday. The levy won with 61 percent of the vote, with an unofficial tally of 67 to 43 votes.
Bicycle spokesman sought in BG
The Bowling Green Bicycle Safety Commission is sponsoring the 13th annual Bicycle Spokesperson of the Year award. Nomination forms for this annual award are now available at the City Administration Building, Community Center, Simpson Building and the city's Web site.
Any Bowling Green citizen can be nominated who exemplifies the spirit of bicycling through involvement in biking, bike safety or bike-related activities. Nominations must be submitted by May 17.
