Mack wins GOP nomination for Perrysburg judge

PERRYSBURG – Molly Mack separated herself from the pack Tuesday night.
The Perrysburg Municipal Court hopeful won the GOP primary for the judge’s seat with nearly 38 percent of the vote.
Opponents C. Drew Griffith and Aram Ohanian received 32.2 percent and just under 30 percent, respectively, according to unofficial results.
“The support of the voters, the confidence that they have in my candidacy, I’m overwhelmed,” said Mack. “We had very good candidates and my competition was really tough. I’m really pleased and relieved at this point.”
Current Municipal Court Judge Dwight Osterud is stepping down after nearly 24 years and four terms on the bench. The court’s jurisdiction encompasses much of northern Wood County, including the cities of Perrysburg, Rossford and Northwood; the villages of Luckey, Millbury, Stony Ridge and Walbridge; and the townships of Perrysburg, Lake, and Troy.
