The Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Department and the Wood County Health Department are holding a lunch time walk at City Park to celebrate National Employee Health and Fitness Day.
Participants should bring a sack lunch to the Martin & Kiwanis shelters anytime between 11 a.m. and p.m. on Wednesday. In the case of inclement weather the event will be moved to the Community Center.
Drinks will be provided and everyone who walks a mile around City Park will be entered into a raffle for prizes.
The business that brings the most employees (small, medium or large category) will win a rotating trophy that they will need to defend at next years' event.
