PEMBERVILLE - Nathan Decker was hired by Pemberville Village Council Tuesday night to serve as swimming pool manager for the 2013 season.
Council also announced a Pool Clean Up Day for May 18 starting at 9 a.m.
Volunteers are being sought to help with the clean up. Anyone can help. Eastwood High School students who need volunteer hours and are interested in helping should contact the village office at (419) 287-3832 or mayor@villageofpemberville.org.
The second swim team and lesson sign up will be held May 11 from 9 a.m. to noon at Pemberville Elementary.
Council also:
• Hired Fresh Cut Lawn Service to handle mosquito spraying and MJ's Snow Landscape to handle street sweeping.
• Received information on the May 4 Family Fun Day activities.
• Acknowledged the village's being named a Tree City USA for the 25th time by the National Arbor Day Foundation.
