Beloved mother, Mary Elizabeth Harris, died on March 26, 2013, in Buford, Georgia. She was 81 years of age, and had been a resident at Brookside Assisted Living for the past five years. She was born Mary Elizabeth Baier on May 19, 1931, in Belle Center, Ohio, to parents Hugh P. Baier and Blanche Alice (Snyder) Baier. Mary grew up in central and northwest Ohio, attending Springfield High School, and Bloomdale High School, where she was a graduate in 1949. She was married to Kenneth A. Harris on February 26, 1950, and they celebrated 48 years together until his death on July 24, 1998.
Ken and Mary were long time residents of the Bloomdale area, and Mary lived in Florida, Virginia, and Georgia after moving from Ohio.
